You have decided to become a freelancer. You are in charge of your time, your business, and the projects you choose to work on. There’s a lot going on, from finding new customers to managing your work. The truth is you have to do everything, especially if you are just starting out.

To increase your chances of success, one of your first decisions as a freelancer is to manage your processes – especially your invoices, accounting, clients, and projects.

To receive, store, and receive complimentary customer reviews, you need an effective and up-to-date way to stay on top of invoices, accounting, time tracking, and customer management. If not, it is very easy to ignore the payable jobs that build your business and always play to participate.

Here are some tools for freelancers that will help them scale their business

Calendar Tools

One of the best and worst things about being a freelancer is that every day is different. This is great if you are the type of person who hates regular work — but not so bad if you do not discipline yourself enough (or do not have a plan) to keep track of appointments and appointments.

Google Calendar

A lot of people buy a lot of Apple products mainly because of how easily they adapt. In the same way, with most people having a Google Account, Google Calendar is a gold standard, one of the best independent tools for calendar management — especially since they have introduced new features aimed at business use situations. Google Calendar Events can be shared with other team members, so if you serve as a visible helper to multiple clients, you can view and manage multiple calendars at once.

Candlely

It makes it easy to chase — just send recipients your unique editing link, which displays many meeting options based on the availability of your calendar. It allows you to easily schedule individual or group meetings, integrated with Google Calendar, Outlook, Office 365, and iCloud, as well as apps like Salesforce, Zapier, Slack, and MailChimp. Candlely also automatically manages time zone acquisition so you can schedule meetings with foreign clients with minimal confusion.

Cloud Storage Tools

Cloud storage has made it easy to store, access, share, and even share files in real-time: anywhere in the world via an Internet connection. Because of all these useful features, a cloud storage solution is needed for long-distance freelancers with clients and contractors from around the world.

Dropbox

Dropbox is a cloud storage software that is free to use with limited storage capacity. You can share files with your friends and complete certain tasks to increase your monthly storage space: like inviting more users and installing Dropbox on multiple devices. You can also choose to purchase additional storage space, depending on your unique needs.

In addition to working within Dropbox applications, you can install Dropbox on your computer. Doing this enables you to automatically sync your online files to your computer.

Google Drive

Google Drive is becoming another popular Dropbox alternative because almost everyone has a Google account, and Google Drive includes access to their software tools, including Docs, Spreadsheets, and slides. These programs allow you to work online and interact with others in real-time, saving files to your Drive. Like Dropbox, free has limited storage space (15GB), with the option to purchase more. You can also install Drive on your computer to sync your online files.

Communication Tools

Whether you are looking for a new person or have already closed a sale, staying in touch with those who love your business is essential to staying busy with projects.

Boomerang

Boomerang helps with staying on top of email communication. A major claim to fame is its ability to organize emails to be sent at their best times. You can do a lot on the weekends but you don’t want customers to get used to responding to you in your “free time” —so use Boomerang to record waiting responses, and arrange for them to be posted within your normal working hours!

Hunter.io

Hunter.io helps you find specific email addresses where you want to place your trust and would like to go directly to the decision-maker. Just search the company website and it will find the email addresses available. For best results (and to help determine the actual decision-maker), refer to the LinkedIn data profile profile
