Airtel Payments Bank, in cooperation with digital gold provider SafeGold, launched a digital platform named DigiGold on Thursday for clients to invest in gold. Customers with Airtel Payments Bank savings accounts can invest in 24K gold through DigiGold using the Airtel Thanks app. Customers can now gift DigiGold to family members and friends who have an Airtel Payments Bank savings account.
Airtel Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, provides a gold investment service to its customers across India. The programme is called DigiGold, and it allows customers to buy and sell gold online from the comfort of their own homes. DigiGold provides its users with 24K 99.50 per cent pure gold.
In addition, the bank plans to provide Systematic Investment Plans, which would allow consumers to invest on a regular basis. Customers’ gold is securely stored by SafeGold at no additional cost and may be sold at any time with a few clicks using the Airtel Thanks app.

- Download the Airtel Thanks App.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Select Banking.
- Select DigiGold
- Select the Buy Gold or Invest in Gold option.
- Enter the quantity or gramme
- Click the Buy Now button.
- Make payment via Airtel Payment Bank or net banking
To begin, use the Airtel Thanks app and navigate to the banking area. Under that, you must select the DigiGold symbol. You will then be presented with several alternatives, including Buy Gold, Sell Gold, and Gift Gold. Tap the Buy Gold button and choose whether you want to buy in terms of amount or grammes.
